What's wanted in a NFS game
To the EA team and fellow NFS fans, I’ve been with this franchise for decades, and I’m writing this as someone who still believes in what Need for Speed can be. NFS Carbon was a turning point for me, I played this on the Wii. The story progression was immersive—you weren’t just racing, you were reclaiming a city, one district at a time. The crew system added depth, and the sense of rivalry made every victory feel personal. But what truly set it apart was the customization. From body kits to vinyls, tuning to performance tweaks, it felt like your car was an extension of your identity. Each boss battle felt earned, and in a unique way which feels lost with recent titles. Then came NFS (2020) terrible name by the way, and I saw a spark of that old magic again. The scenery was stunning—Palm City felt alive, vibrant, and immersive. The day-night cycle added real tension, and the online play brought a sense of community that had been missing for years. It was a step in the right direction. I can’t talk about NFS without mentioning Most Wanted. The original was iconic. It had grit, attitude, and a sense of rebellion that defined a generation of racing games. The updated version, while technically impressive, stripped away the very soul that made the original unforgettable. The absence of the Blacklist, the lack of meaningful progression, and the shift in tone left many of us feeling like something precious had been lost. This isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about identity. NFS was never just a racing game. It was a culture. A feeling. A rush. And we, the fans, are still here. Still racing. Still hoping. Please, bring back the heart. Bring back the story, the customization, the stakes. Let NFS be bold again.5Views0likes1CommentNFS Payback won't start in multiplayer.
My system is Gen 5 with Windows 11 Enterprise. Have done all the windows updates and the GPU updates. Have cleared all the cache and everything else EA suggests. The game works fine in single player. When I join multiplayer it starts matchmaking for about 35 seconds then boots me to desktop. It does this if I try single or if I try with other friends. They get in the multiplayer but the game boots me to desktop. I start an Error report and it say your error report has an Error. No more EA games for me.6Views0likes0CommentsThe game crashes after an hour
At first, there was a different issue, dxgi_error_device_removed, which I was most likely able to fix by installing driver version 560.94. But then I encountered another problem: after about an hour of playing, the game simply freezes, along with the sound, the keyboard backlight turns off, and the PC can only be recovered from this state by forcing a reboot with the button. I tried all the solutions while trying to fix the dxgi error, but nothing helped except installing an older version of the drivers, but now I've encountered this problem. My PC: 4070 i5 12400f 32GB RAM I want to clarify that the processor and RAM are overclocked, but just a year ago I played with the same settings and everything worked fine. The problems appeared around after installing the 4070. Before that, I was playing on the 1060 and everything was fine. Now I have a full HD monitor, and the freezes occurred at medium graphics settings with DLSS enabled. The ingame store of NFS - No limits, isn’t working for 3 months already
I’m from Belgium, and I have Need for Speed - No Limits installed on both an iPad Air and iPhone 14 - despite the continuous reporting by my side to the help desk of the game, concerning the fact that it’s been already for 3 months that the ingame store isn’t available, there’s no reaction from either EA or Firemonkeys, and the problem remains. I have reinstalled the game at least 5 times in those 3 months, on both devices, but the problem remains, so apparently it’s not about the devices. I see in AppStore people sharing the same problem. Any idea how to fix it or how to make Firemonkeys aware of the ongoing problem? Thanks for your help!10Views0likes0CommentsNFS MW 2012 PC: Can't get Speedpoints

Hi Team, I’m writing on behalf of my company. We’re currently planning an event where local content creators will come together to compete across a mix of physical and digital games and activities for a prize pool. I would love for NFS Heat to be one of the titles in this event. I tried reaching out to local licensing vendors but couldn’t find any, so I wanted to contact you directly. Since our events are broadcast live on YouTube, I wanted to check whether we could feature NFS gameplay in the broadcast and if so, what the appropriate permissions or requirements would be. This is a small scale event with a limited budget (not esports or your traditional gaming tournament), but we’d be thrilled to have NFS Heat included as part of it.10Views0likes0CommentsNFS 2016 PC Keyboard not Workings
I regret to learn that you are facing difficulties with NFS 2015 on your PC. Let us attempt some troubleshooting measures to rectify the issue: Check for Updates: Verify that the game is completely updated by looking for any patches or updates that may resolve keyboard compatibility problems. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the game's executable file or its shortcut and select "Run as Administrator." This action can sometimes fix permission-related issues that may be impacting keyboard input. Disable Overlay Software: If you are running any overlay software (such as Discord overlay or Steam overlay), consider disabling them, as they may disrupt the game's input. Disable Gamepad or Controller: If a gamepad or controller is connected to your PC, try disconnecting it or turning it off in the game's settings to determine if it is causing conflicts with the keyboard input. Check Keyboard Settings: Ensure that your keyboard settings are properly configured. Review the language, layout, and any special function keys on your laptop's keyboard. Update Keyboard Drivers: Confirm that your laptop's keyboard drivers are current. You can achieve this by visiting the manufacturer's website and checking for the latest drivers for your specific model. Check for Software Conflicts: Certain background applications may interfere with the game's input. Attempt to close unnecessary programs while playing the game to see if that resolves the issue. Verify Game Files: If you are using a digital platform such as Origin or Steam, verify the game files to ensure that none of them are corrupted. Try Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the game's executable, navigate to "Properties," and attempt to run the game in compatibility mode for a different version of Windows. Contact Support: If none of the aforementioned solutions are effective, consider contacting the game's support team or forums to explore any specific solutions for this issue. By following these steps, you may be able to resolve the problem and enjoy playing NFS 2015 on your PC. If the issue continues, do not hesitate to reach out for further assistance.9Views0likes0CommentsPgup Doesn't Work?
I've just loaded the game for the first time, but it's unplayable. I get into the tutorial, and it tells me I need to press pgup to start a race. But nothing happens when I press the button. I've tried every button on my keyboard and nothing happens. I forced closed the game in case it was a random glitch. It made me watch the intro all over again, and then the same problem happened. Why can't I play the game? Anyone have any ideas? Or have I just spent 50 quid on something that doesn't work?SolvedCan't see the Koenigsegg One:1

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound Platform:Xbox Series X Summarize your bug I Can’t play online AT ALL after paying for the Speed Pass. Every time try and go to the multiplayer tab, I get greeted with my car missing half of its part in the main menu screen, and then when I go to into it I get into the loading screen and stay still after the loading bar is full, for hours!… How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For me (I use an Xbox Series S), I got it right after I bought the premium Speed Pass, I played for a bit, then start using my Audi RS6 but then the game crashed, so I went back to it only to find my Audi is stripped out of most of it parts in the main menu screen… and every time I try to go to multiplayer the game just get 100% but never starts. even after deleting it and reinstalling it, I still get the SAME issue. What happens when the bug occurs? The game just craft when I was in the middle of driving the RS6, then when I jumped back to the game is when the bug showed up. What do you expect to see? I’m expecting a hot patch to fix the issue because I can’t play the game for what I payed for… expecting you to at least taking this issue seriously. I think I already said all the detailed that are needed… soooo… yah… I just can’t play the online/multiplayer mode right after I payed for the Speed Pass… (also… just to point out, I got the bug with my Xbox Series S.)2.5KViews1like11CommentsAn announcement about some older NFS titles.
Starting May 31st 2021, Need for Speed Carbon, Need for Speed Undercover, Need for Speed Shift, Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed and Need for Speed The Run will be removed from digital storefronts and you will no longer be able to purchase them. In-game stores will also be closed from May 31st. This is in preparation for the retirement of the online services for these titles which will happen on August 31st 2021. Until that date, you will be able to play and race your friends (and rivals) online. From September 1st 2021 onwards, you can still play the games and use the respective offline features of these titles. Decisions to retire games are never made easy, but we are now shifting gears to focus on the future of Need for Speed. The development teams and operational staff have put a lot of time and passion into the development, creation, release and upkeep of the game over the years, and we love to see you play. But the number of players has come to a point where it's no longer feasible to continue the work behind the scenes required to keep Need for Speed Carbon, Need for Speed Undercover, Need for Speed Shift, Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed and Need for Speed The Run up and running. We hope you have gotten many victories, satisfying drifts, moments of friendly rivalry, and hours of joy over the last few years out of these games. And we hope you'll keep driving with us in one of our newer titles - Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012), Need for Speed Rivals, Need for Speed (2015), Need for Speed Payback, Need for Speed Heat and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered - many of which are available via our EA Play subscription.
